Wall art photos for prints

I have a _select_ion of stock photos that are better suited to be printed as wall art than published on websites, photos with an artistic touch or a motif that will be interesting enough to hang on a wall.

While I do supply The Bach art cooperative in Whangarei with smaller prints there is only a limited added value that I can bring to the process as the photographer. Framed photographs turn out to be surprisingly expensive in a gallery after adding the cost of high quality inkjet prints, fine art paper, delivery, gallery commissions and GST. Handling a fine art print is also very delicate and time consuming. I learned that a high quality 4_0x_50 cm print with a simple frame breaks even at about $180, still without any artist recompense...

You will probably make a better suited choice of print size and quality, framing and finishing. You may decide to print the photo on a mug or pillow instead. I hereby encourage you to simply download a photo and process it further any way you prefer!

1. Download the photograph
2. Decide on the frame/matboard size - cheap off the shelf or custom made
3. Upload the photo to a good quality local print shop fitting the frame size
4. Assemble the print in the frame and hang

Wall art photographs

The most suitable photo categories for wall art are the Black & White pictures, the Abstract images as well as the Backgrounds & Textures - or if you are local then of course the Whangarei & Northland photos.
