A standard private license gives you the right to use the photo for personal and non-commercial use, multiple times if needed, for example to print a poster or t-shirt, as a wallpaper, for use on a private website, in social media or a non for profit blog.
A standard commercial license endorses the use of images for all sorts of general business purposes such as marketing and advertising, in print or on commercial websites. Duplication or reprint is restricted up to 500,000 copies.
The use in products, footage, web templates, book or ebook covers, magazine covers, postcards and posters is not allowed under the standard license but requires an extended license.
An extended license is lifting restrictions on use: it gives the right to unlimited reproduction or duplication, the use in products for resale, footage, web templates, book or ebook covers, magazine covers, postcards and posters.
